Invitation to the 17th ISTMA World Conference 2026

We are pleased to announce that the 17th ISTMA World Conference 2026 will be held at the Xijiao State Guest Hotel in Shanghai, China, from July 1 to July 5, 2026. As President of the CDMIA and Vice President of ISTMA, it is my great honor to warmly welcome you to attend this conference in China.

The ISTMA World Conference 2026 is organized by the International Special Tooling & Machining Association (ISTMA), the global organization for the die and mould industry, representing over 8,000 companies worldwide. The China Die & Mould Industry Association (CDMIA), established in October 1984 as the sole national industry association for China's die and mould sector, is proud to serve as the host.

In 2024, China's die and mould output reached RMB 363.3 billion, making it the world's largest market for die and mould consumption. While supplying the domestic market, China also exported die and mould products worth USD 8.686 billion. We hope this conference will promote complementary cooperation among nations, explore collaborations in moulding engineering, and advance mutual benefits and interconnected development in the global die and mould industry. ISTMA World Conference 2026 aims to maximize international industrial complementarity, address common industry needs, and foster cooperation. China's die and mould industry extend a heartfelt welcome to all colleagues across the global supply chain.

The theme of ISTMA World Conference 2026 is "Connectivity, Innovation, Complementation, Mutual Benefit." The conference will consist of three key segments: international die & mould industry report and system research,technology leadership and personnel development. The event will focus on innovative advancements in technology, management, and mechanisms, leveraging resource, advantage, and trade to promote global cooperation and achieve mutual benefits.

At the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Hongqiao, Shanghai, we will showcase cutting-edge die and mould manufacturing technologies and exquisite products at DMC 2026. We will also experience the serene charm of Jiangnan's water towns. We sincerely look forward to welcoming delegations led by industry associations from around the world to Shanghai. We invite industry elites to gather in Shanghai to exchange pioneering innovations, share practical experiences and explore collaborations. Through interconnected approaches, we will advance global cooperation and achieve win-win outcomes.
