The 17th ISTMA World Conference 2026 (ISTMA World Conference) stands as the preeminent international forum for the global die and mould industry. Initiated and organized by the International Special Tooling & Machining Association (ISTMA), and exclusively hosted by the China Die and Mould Industry Association (CDMIA), this prestigious event adopts the theme: Connectivity, Innovation, Complementation, Mutual Benefit." The Conference is structured around three core pillars:The presentation of the International Die and mould Industry Report, alongside systematic, sector-specific research findings;Innovation in technological, managerial, and institutional models; and Talent cultivation and development.The program will further facilitate executive visits to leading Chinese enterprises, fostering high-level exchange and interaction.

As the organizing body, ISTMA serves as the global representative body for the die and mould sector, encompassing a membership base that represents over 8,000 companies worldwide. CDMIA, serving as the host and Vice-Chairman unit of ISTMA, is committed to fulfilling our solemn responsibility. We are dedicated to ensuring that this triennial Conference, held in China for the first time, evolves into a globally anticipated event characterized by technological leadership, market complementarity, and effective communication.

The Conference will take place from July 1 to July 4, 2026, at the Xijiao State Guest Hotel in Shanghai, China—a venue of national guesthouse caliber. As the inaugural hosting of this Conference in China, the event serves not only as a core platform for global technological exchange and resource alignment but also shoulders the significant mission of exploring novel pathways and models for the future collaborative development of the global industry ecosystem.

The Conference will place a particular emphasis on China—the world's largest consumer market for die and mould. It will highlight the nation's developmental needs, fully unleash the dividends of its vast market potential, demonstrate China's capabilities and cooperative intentions regarding die and mould development, and promote the deep integration of domestic and international industrial sectors.
